BestHistory is a Best Series product by Zhiban (博学智伴). It is a privacy-first Chrome / Chromium browser history manager that groups history by website first, then lets you search, tag, annotate, pin, privately store, back up, and rediscover sites you used before.

Local-first + AI

Local-first by design: your complete browsing-history database, Private Mode data and backup files are not uploaded to the BestHistory account server. When you deliberately use an AI feature, only the limited data needed for that AI request is sent to the server and AI provider; see the Privacy Notice for exact fields.

BestHistory Pro

Pro plans: $2.99/month, $24.99/year, or $59.99 one-time Lifetime. Payments are processed by Paddle. Google is not the seller.

New BestHistory accounts receive a 30-day Pro Trial before paid access is required for Pro-only features.

Install

BestHistory v1.0.0 can be installed now from GitHub Releases. See the official installation guide for the current manual-install steps and the future Chrome Web Store route.

The public repository contains product documentation and support materials, not the proprietary application source code.
