FAQ
An account is optional for free local history management. Signing in is for the 30-day Pro trial, paid features, and purchases.
Your full normal-history database, Private Mode records, and backup files remain on your device by default; BestHistory does not sell browsing data.
AI Recall and AI Organize run only when you choose them. They may send limited website metadata and search hints, not the full browsing-history database or the encrypted private vault.
Private Mode is a locally encrypted, password-protected area for selected records. It does not hide internet activity from websites or network operators.
BestHistory Pro
The core local features are free. New accounts currently receive a 30-day Pro trial. Paid Pro plans are $2.99 monthly or $24.99 yearly (auto-renewing), or $59.99 Lifetime (one-time, for the product's operating lifetime). Paddle handles payments as Merchant of Record.
